New Garden

Rob has been hard at work in our yard this week. He's taking advantage of the beautiful weather FINALLY coinciding with some time off of work. So far he has made a compost bin, a new walkway from the driveway into the backyard, more than doubled our garden space and started Spring planting. In the next month he hopes to have finished a new seating area out back and a pergola too! He's had plenty of little helpers out in the yard. The entire family has been recovering from a cold, so the time outside has been very welcome after a week of laying on the couch trying to feel better. Peyton was the last to get the cold, so she tried to enjoy time outside but spent much of her time on my hip or inside with me.Michael loved learning that he was shoveling "cow poop," a phrase he repeated with enthusiasm about a million times this weekend. Miriam was Rob's sidekick. She stayed outside helping Daddy work long past the rest of the kids.
