Davis Day!

On Saturday we went to our 17th annual family reunion. I love that the children are reminded each year at Easter time of how their family loves God and loves each other.

Betty Sue does "Mammie time" with the children. Mammie was my great grandmother; our reunion is the annual gathering of her 6 children and all of their families. During Mammie Time, Betty Sue helps all the little children plant a pansy to take home while telling them stories of Mammie's beautiful flower garden.

After Mammie time, it's on to the Easter egg hunt. The older children hide the eggs for the younger ones. Michael slept through both Mammie time and the Easter egg hunt!

Grace is proud of her eggs!Kristin had more fun dumping her basket than looking for the eggs

Picture taking seems to be a common passion within our family- cameras everywhere!

Miriam was very proud of her 54 eggs! Rebekah found over 40 as well!

Next we ate a huge potluck lunch, spent time socializing and also had a drawing for homemade prizes and plants.

Looks like fun! Wish I could have been there! Michael is looking so big...more toddler than baby!!! WOW! =) It's probably the little button up shirt he's wearing that makes him look like such a big boy....
