Another wonderful day

I was not expecting a great day today. Michael is cutting teeth; his molars and it has not been fun. He's not sleeping well, and is pretty cranky during the day lately. I've not been getting much done around the house, I'm struggling just to keep the kitchen straight, laundry somewhat done, and the kids cared for without falling asleep myself!
This morning the hormone fairy seemed to come visit Rebekah. She cried multiple times at church for no reason. She seemed so sad and upset.

All was repaired when Grandma and Mac-Mac took us to Olive Garden. The girls love going to a restaurant. Mac-Mac had their car seats in his car, so they got to ride to the restaurant with Grandma and Mac-Mac. Then they each got to order their own kids meal. AND when it was finished the each got their own 2 scoop ice cream, one chocolate scoop, one vanilla with chocolate syrup and a cherry on top! Rebekah ate every last bit of hers! She has obviously been blessed with her Momma's sweet tooth!

We even squeezed in a happy trip to BJ's way past nap time after the restaurant-even after Momma said "no" to the movies the girls spotted right away.

After nap, the day was still beautiful, so Daddy went on a bike ride and we went to the neighborhood park to play.

Michael all boy as usual. He climbs up the stairs, turns around and slides backwards down the slide and then runs to do it all again. Notice how dirty he is! And no one better touch him-he can do it himself! It's so funny for me to see. Rebekah was barely walking across a carpeted room at this age and he's running through the mulch, climbing and sliding.

Miriam found two older girls to play with at the park today. My social butterfly went right up to them to ask to play. (she is so unlike me!!!) They played tag kitties, sang songs, and watched the older girl climb the tree. Here she is trying to hang upside down like the big girls- and she truly thought she was upside down!
Rebekah tried to keep up with the big girls for a bit. Then she gave up. Though at one point she did hop off the swing saying, "I'm going to get my sissy back!"
She eventually realized her chance for one on one Mommy time since Michael was occupied running around in the grass and mulch and Miriam was playing with the other girls.
Here she is with slide static in her hair!
