Can it be that my little Rebekah Jo is turning 4 today? 3 was such a wonderful age for Rebekah, her personality blossomed so much this year.Rebekah became the most loving little girl this year- she is quick to cuddle at any opportunity. I frequently hear her saying, "I did ______ to show my love for you!" If her thumb isn't in her mouth you'll most often find her with a huge smile on her face. I think her personality becomes more and more like mine everyday. She loves predictability and routine; she likes to have a plan and know what is coming next. She is very tender hearted; she cries if music has a sad sound and asks us to turn the TV off when cartoon characters are mean to each other. She loves caring for those around her; she is always trying to baby our dog, Memphis and likes to watch out for Michael as well. She is extremely independent and wants to do everything possible by herself. She still has quite the stubborn streak and a quick temper, but as her ability to communicate has grown this year we've had the privilege of watching her learn to control her emotions and talk through her problems more instead of dissolving into tears and screaming so easily.
I am looking forward to watching her continue to change a grow as a 4 year old this year.
