Christmas with the McDowell's

We had our Christmas gathering with my side of the family on the day after Christmas. We were blessed to have 4 generations there celebrating Christmas together! We had a lovely steak dinner- Mom and Dad offered to eat in the kitchen with most of the children while the rest of the adults and Michael ate in the dinning room.

The kids had a wonderful time opening and playing with presents. We tried to go slowly and see what everyone was opening, but it was difficult with so many presents and anxious children! Here the children are trying to wait patiently while sitting with Gami and G.G.
The girls got princess dolls from Aunt Alana and Uncle Nate. Rebekah was especially thrilled with hers, she kept saying that she had a "pretty ballerina doll."

Naomi was excited to help open all of Gabriel's presents since he was too young to participate this year. The girls got MP3 players from Mac-Mac and Grandma. Mac-Mac borrowed all our kids cds before Christmas and uploaded them to the new players. Miriam was so excited to have an "ipod", as she calls it. After opening presents the children had so much fun playing with all their new things:

Miriam and Naomi played dress up

Rebekah played with her baby dolls and G.G.

Michael was happy with many new cars to play with

Rebekah and Daddy needed a rest

Miriam and Michael entertained Gabriel playing peek-a-boo

Grandma and Aunt Alana lead the kids in singing "The Wheels on the Bus"

Naomi loved on Rebekah's new dolly
