I'm going to try to catch the blog up in the next few days. September was a whirlwind of vacation and visiting with friends and family!
Rob and his co-worker Jared are riding bicycles together. They've been getting together several times a month to prepare for a 400 mile ride to Washington DC in May. This weekend they'll be doing a two day ride to benefit Multiple Sclerosis.
Early this month they rode over 70 miles from Concord out to Lake Tillery where Jared's parents have a lake house. We met them out there for an afternoon on the lake. Miriam and Michael enjoyed a boat ride with Jared and Rob while Rebekah, Peyton, Colleen (Jared's wife) and I hung out on the boat dock. It was a very cool and windy day, but the kids were eager to swim. "Mrs. Colleen" became their very favorite person when she floated with them on the lake.

Rebekah was afraid, but she wanted to be close to Mrs. Colleen, she only stayed on the float for a few minutes. Michael and Miriam were soon sticking their feet in the water and splashing.
