Michael Joseph is 4 years old!

Happy Birthday to my boy!!!
Michael is so excited to celebrate his birthday today. We started this morning by giving him a new Leapster game to play during the day while waiting for his celebration tonight. He has requested Papa John's pizza and dirt cake for his birthday meal.

Michael has been such a joy this year; I cannot wait to see what next year holds for him. He has developed such personality this year. I think he must be a lot like his Daddy was as a child--maybe that's why I tend to dote on him so much! He is the 'class clown' of the family; always looking for something funny to do or trying to make us all laugh. He loves to wrestle and cut up with his Daddy. But, he is still my cuddle bug. He's sweet to his sisters and loves to play with them, but hopes his new sibling (due in June) will be a boy so that he'll have someone to share a bed with. He says that if the baby is a boy he will never sleep in a crib, they can just sleep together. Most of this year when Michael was asked what he wants to be when he grows up he would answer Police Officer or Iron Man. Lately, after a discussion about Uncle Nate being a marine and controlling an airplane and telling the marines where to go, he's decided that he wants to be a 'arine' when he grows up--but he's not going to shoot anyone, he'll just tell other people what to do. When asked what he wants for Christmas his answer has been 'a shooter' so that he can go to work with his Daddy.
