Rebekah the cook

In a very rare occurrence, Rebekah woke up from nap before everyone else on Sunday. She was thrilled to be the only one awake so we decided to bake a pound cake together. How exciting it was not to share the batter bowl with a sister and a brother!
Let me tell you a bit about Rebekah these days:
If Rebekah loves you, you are one blessed person. When Rebekah loves its a full out, no holds barred kind of love. When Rebekah loves she uses ALL of her love languages to make sure you feel that love. She will sit as close as she can and climb in your lap as often as possible. She will do a chore unasked and declare that she did it to "show her love." She tells you she loves you multiple times a day. She brings flowers and cards. She doesn't like to be separated from those she loves- she cries when we run errands and leave Daddy at home.
Rebekah has a new found love of "school." She loves to be praised for a job well done. She takes a second to jump up and down and squeal after each little accomplishment (reading lessons take 25 minutes instead of 15!) A high five and "that's right Bek, very nice!" are all she needs to enjoy each lesson. She is now reading words ending in "at" and "an" and reading sentences such as, "The fat cat sat!" She is very, very proud of her new skill and points out the word "at" everywhere she can find it.
I am so blessed by this sweet little girl!

Aww...
you are right. Never put that together before, but she is a lot like you. Such a loving thing and a pleaser too, yet push her over the edge and WATCH OUT!
